Weekly Photo Challenge: Window

2013-11-17 07.19.11-2This is our the front window of our house.  It was built in 1911 and when you look closely out the window from inside our living room, you can see that the pane is actually wavy.

The entire house is actually a window into the soul of the former owner, who raised her 4 children in the 2 bedroom craftsman.  She and her husband bought the house to be close to the neighborhood Catholic Church and while she was alive she opened the church every morning at 5 a.m. and attended 6:30 a.m. mass.  The Blessed Virgin is “en-tiled” in our kitchen, the permanent tile to the upper right of my Vitamix.  Some of the light switches are housed inside of plastic religious covers.
